Roxburghe Club publications are produced in two states. Each member of the Club receives a copy bound in half calf. In the list of members of the Club, each recipient's name is printed in red ink. Normally, not more than 42 copies are printed in this form. Additionally a member can print up to 300 copies of the title usually bound in cloth. These are available for sale, usually through the antiquarian bookdealers listed below.

Portrait and two facsimile plates tipped in. Large 8vo., quarter maroon calf, maroon cloth sides with Arundel arms in gilt on the upper cover. Privately printed at the Stourton Press, 1987.

The text of Remembrances of Things was given to John Evelyn on 25 April 1646 by Thomas Howard, 14th Earl of Arundel. In this volume, it is reproduced in full and two facsimile pages of the original manuscript are tipped in. An extract from Evelyn’s diary of 1646 is also reproduced which describes the moment when he was given these Remembrances by the Earl of Arundel and some of his ensuing travels in Italy. The editor, John Martin Robinson, has added notes and an excellent introduction.
