Roxburghe Club publications are produced in two states. Each member of the Club receives a copy bound in half calf. In the list of members of the Club, each recipient's name is printed in red ink. Normally, not more than 42 copies are printed in this form. Additionally a member can print up to 300 copies of the title usually bound in cloth. These are available for sale, usually through the antiquarian bookdealers listed below.

A new and deeply-researched biography of John Meade Falkner (1858-1932), armaments manufacturer and dealer, writer, and bibliophile, best-known for his three novels, The Lost Stradivarius (1895), Moonfleeet (1898), and The Nebuly Coat (1903).

Privately printed for The Roxburghe Club in an edition of 500 copies, of which 400 are offered for sale. Designed by Robert Dalrymple. Set in Mark van Bronkhorst's Verigris type. Printed in Belgium by Albe De Coker, Distributed by Maggs Bros Ltd.

Edition details: Tall narrow 8vo. [Text: 383 x 183 mm]. 334, [1] pp. Tipped-in colour frontispiece of Meade Falkner's College of Arms grant of 1905 (The Nebuly Coat) painted by David Hopkinson, 15 black-and-white illustrations in the text. Bound in sky-blue cloth.
